Dublin Pride Festival

Well, first on the list is the Dublin Pride Festival! It began in 1983 and celebrates LGBTQ+ pride everywhere.  It is also the second biggest parade in Ireland right behind St. Patrick’s Day, so don’t miss out on pride week Thursday, 21st June to Sat 30th June.  The parade will be held on the final day of the week, the 30th, to finish the week!

Great Irish Beverages, Irish Gin & Tonic Festival

Ireland is well known for its excellent produce, amazing beers and world-class whiskies. But we are now distilling incredible gins that use the farmed and wild ingredients of their localities to flavour their spirits. The Irish Gin & Tonic Fest is a 32 county celebration of Ireland’s finest gins. Now into its third year,  its running in 2018 from June 23rd – 30th.

Irish International A Capella Fest

This next festival is for all of the music lovers and singers out there.  On 22nd to 24th of June, The Irish International A Capella Festival returns to Dublin for the second year in a row.  The festival features various talented a capella singers in venues throughout Dublin city.  Its been called “the biggest singing event of the summer” so don’t miss out!

Museums

Finally, we highly recommend getting around the city and and going to different museums and learning about Ireland’s culture and history.  Many of the museums in Dublin are free which makes it a great activity to do if you are on a budget. Our Top 5 museums are: The Little Museum of Dublin, National Museum of Ireland,  The National Gallery of Ireland,  The Science Gallery , or The Irish Museum of Modern Art.

Family Friendly Museums include The Leprechaun Museum ( Our next door Neighbours!) The Wax Museum, and The Rock and Roll Museum!
